Droid Duel

01

What We Collect

Nothing leaves your device. Droid Duel stores the following data locally on your phone only:

• Pilot names you enter before a match
• Win and loss records per pilot name
• Your sound on/off preference
• Victory taunt audio clips you choose to record

02

Microphone Permission

Droid Duel requests access to your microphone for one purpose only: recording your victory taunt. This is optional. The game is fully playable without ever granting microphone access.

If you grant the permission and record a clip, that audio file is saved exclusively to your device's internal app storage under a filename keyed to your pilot name. It is never uploaded, never analyzed, and never accessed by anyone other than the app playing it back when you win a match.

You can re-record or effectively delete your taunt at any time by recording a new clip in Settings, or by clearing the app's storage data in your device's application settings.

03

No Analytics. No Ads. No Accounts.

Droid Duel contains no analytics SDK, no advertising network, no crash reporting service, and no account or login system. There is no backend. There is no server. The app makes no network requests during gameplay.

• No data is collected about how you play
• No device identifiers are read or transmitted
• No location data is accessed
• No usage statistics are gathered
• No third-party SDKs are embedded

04

Data Storage & Retention

All app data — pilot names, scores, preferences, and taunt recordings — is stored in Android's internal app storage on your device. This storage is private to the app and is not accessible to other apps on your device.

Data is retained until you uninstall the app or manually clear its storage via your device's application settings. We have no ability to access, retrieve, or delete your data because we never receive it.

05

Children's Privacy

Droid Duel does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no data leaves the device and no accounts are required, the app presents no privacy risk to younger players beyond standard device usage.

06

Changes to This Policy

If a future version of Droid Duel introduces features that change how data is handled, this policy will be updated and the effective date revised. The updated policy will be available on the Google Play Store listing and at the URL where you're reading this now.

We will not introduce data collection practices that contradict the spirit of this policy — that your data is yours and stays on your device — without clear, prominent disclosure.
